Getting into the spirit of things, we thought it was only right that we should have a go at a world cup song. We left it a bit late in the day, so this was thrown together very quickly at the cost of any production work whatsoever.
That said, we like it, and would love to get everyone singing it, so take it, it’s free, but pass it on to as many people as you can, along with the instruction to do the same.
Ever wondered why Heinz food manufacturers always harp on about 57 varieties, and indeed which 57 in particular they are talking about? I know I have. In fact, the idea to make an amusing video for the next brownleaves DVD involving the aforementioned, prompted me to do a little research.
Turns out it’s all a load of bollocks… thanks Heinz.

the x-factor 2006 application form is in, and under scrutiny as we speak
we put quite a bit of effort into the application form, so they’ll probably just throw it in the bin, but who knows, we could be up infront of Simon Cowell and co. before you know it. The “attach your photo here” section of the form particularly inspired us, and so out we went armed with a camera.

The first official brownleaves party took place recently in the fabulous “Old Ship” on Eastbank St, Southport. The event was designed to raise money for forthcoming brownleaves attractions.
Unfortunatley, we were unable to collect the nominal entry fee requested from all attendees (you know who you are) and having spent a fair amount of money setting the evening up, only managed to raise £7. All is not lost though, other than the failure to make any money, the night was a roaring success and I think it’s fair to say a fun evening was had by all.
As a result, the next party is scheduled at the same venue on Friday 28th April - put it in your diaries. We will not be charging admission this time, but neither will we be providing any food. However there will be all the same entertainment provided at the last party, plus a couple of new additions that will rock your world, not least the introduction of the soon to be famous “brownleaves ‘Spin That Wheel’ Karaoke music quiz” (yes that’s right - be excited).
All that remains for us to say, is a big thank-you to all who contributed to the previous party, and keep the 28th free, we’ll see you there.
